What the file contains.
The same traffic and conversion measures as the by-ASIN report — sessions, page views, unit session percentage, ordered product sales — but pivoted on the day rather than the product. Every ASIN is aggregated into a single daily line.
That makes it useless for deciding which product to fix and the fastest report on the site for working out when something changed. A conversion rate that fell over three weeks is a listing or competitive problem; one that fell on a Tuesday is an event — a price change, a stockout, a Buy Box loss, a policy action.
Pull it alongside the by-ASIN version rather than instead of it. One tells you what to look at, the other tells you when to start looking.
What it can tell you.
- Which day a change in traffic or conversion actually started
- Whether a bad month was a steady decline or one bad week
- How weekday and weekend traffic differ, which affects how budgets should be paced
- Whether a promotion or deal moved anything durable

Using it to diagnose a product
Every ASIN is blended into one line. A strong product improving while a weak one collapses shows up as a flat line and no signal at all.

Reading a single bad day as a trend
Daily traffic is noisy, and a single outlier is usually an outage, a holiday or an attribution artefact. Look for the day a level changed and stayed changed.
